VIS survival show makes it to El Salvador

MTV’s original Stranded with a Million Dollars

El Salvador TV network Megavisión has picked up the first season of reality survival series Resistiré from Viacom International Studios (VIS).

The series is shot in Chile and sees 24 participants abandoned in the Andes without food, water, shelter or any chance to communicate with the outside world. The participants are given a lump sum that they must manage as a team to ensure their survival.

The objective is for participants to resist temptation and end their period of isolation with the highest amount remaining in order to receive a cash prize. The series is inspired by MTV’s original series Stranded with a Million Dollars.

Resistiré is coproduced by VIS, Mega Media and TV Azteca and has already gained more than 22.5 million viewers across Latin America.
