RTP, TG4 collar Pat the Dog

Superprod and Animoka’s Pat The Dog

RTP in Portugal and Ireland’s TG4 are among a number of international broadcasters to have picked up children’s animated series Pat The Dog from French sales house Superights.

The free-to-air rights to the first season has also been bagged by LTV in Latvia, VIU TV in Hong Kong and RTI in Ivory Coast.

The series is produced by Superprod and Animoka and follows a dog and its young owner as they embark on numerous adventures. The second season was recently released, with a third instalment as well as a feature film currently in the works.

Both seasons of Pat the Dog have already been bought by France Télévisions; Italian broadcaster Rai; Warner Media Group for its channels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia; Disney for its channels across Spain, France, the Netherlands, Russia and Germany; and Discovery Kids in Latin America.

The series is also aired on Canadian broadcaster Radio Canada, Televisa in Mexico, RTS in Switzerland, TV3 in Spain, VRT in Belgium and on Chinese VoD platform Mango TV.
