Walisanga or in Javanese language called Walisongo is a figure who played a very big role in the development of Islam in Indonesia. 'Guardian' is derived from the Arabic word, Waliyullah which means, "The man who loved God and loved by God". While 'songo' comes from the Java language that means nine. Thus, "Walisongo" refers to the nine trustees of nine people who love and loved by God. Nine figures known as the propagator of Islam in Java in the 14th century, who lived in three key areas are the northern coast of Java, namely Surabaya-Gresik-Lamongan-Tuban in East Java, Demak-Holy-Muria in Central Java, and Cirebon in West Java. A very large role in establishing the Islamic kingdom in Java, as well as its influence on the culture of society at large as well as propaganda directly, making the Walisongo more known than others. They are Malik Ibrahim or Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Sunan Ampel or Raden Rahmat, Sunan Bonang or Raden Makhdum Ibrahim, Sunan Drajat or Raden Qasim, Sunan Kudus or Ja'far Sadiq, Sunan Giri or Raden Paku or Ainul Yaqin, Sunan Kalijaga or Raden Said Sunan Muria or Raden Umar Said, and Sunan Gunung Jati or Syarif Hidayatullah
