BBC Studios inks first-look deal with Rogan Productions

BBC Studios has signed a first-look deal with UK indie factual prodco Rogan Productions.

The company, which was established in 2013, has agreed a three-year-deal giving BBC Studios a first look at distributing its programming slate in return for development funding.

It is led by husband-and-wife team James and Soleta Rogan and known for its premium documentaries and landmark series that tackle challenging topics from a unique perspective, with titles including Putin: A Russian Spy Story,The World According To Paul Dacre and Stephen: The Murder That Changed A Nation.

“We are very excited about securing this endorsement and support of Rogan’s output at this key juncture in company growth,” said MD Soleta Rogan. “Working in partnership with BBC Studios is key to us sharpening our focus on global reach as we continue to deliver high-quality content for domestic audiences.”
