The appointments, which are effective immediately, will also see director of production Jane Macaulay being promoted to become director of production & post-production while Elliot Spencer, previously director of development & creative services, take the newly created position of creative director.
He will work across creative on Endemol Shine Australia’s programmes and its branding, added to his current development duties.
All the execs report to Endemol Shine Australia CEO Newman, who said: “These are richly-deserved promotions and I am deeply proud of the incredible executive management team we have at ESA. This restructure ensures our business is well positioned for continued growth while enhancing our ability to deliver world class content to our broadcast partners.”
Former creative chief Newman took charge of Endemol Shine Australia last year, following the exits of co-CEOs Mark and Carl Fennessy, who had led the company for more than a decade.
