Amazon brings back Hanna for S3

The second season of Hanna dropped recently on Amazon

Global streaming giant Amazon has ordered a third season of its original action series Hanna.

The drama follows a young woman as she evades the relentless pursuit of a sinister government agency and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.

The season three commission comes shortly after the second run premiered on Amazon’s Prime Video platform.

Hanna is written and exec produced by David Farr. Tom Coan will serve as exec producer for NBCUniversal International Studios, part of Universal Studio Group, while Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Scott Nemes will also exec produce.

Farr said: “When we set out on this journey, I had in my mind a drama that would excavate Hanna’s past, challenge her in entirely new ways and answer the question: can she ever belong? I am truly grateful to Amazon and NBCUniversal that we are able to continue that vision. It’s going to be an exciting third act.”
